Enterprise GIS Services for the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG)

VSolvit, in partnership with Sigmanet© were awarded a contract with the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG).

The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) functions as the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the six following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura and Imperial. VSolvit was tasked with creating a forum where stakeholders from different departments could interact and conduct GIS strategic meetings with internal SCAG staff. Additionally, VSolvit was instrumental in launching an effective GIS Steering Committee. VSolvit assisted SCAG staff in identifying stakeholders, shortlists, charter, and facilitating the GISSC meetings.

VSolvit's team also developed GIS applications and templates. We built seven basic Map Templates for six counties and the SCAG Region. The VSolvit team used the Geocortex Essentials Web ADF elements to customize and implement specific GIS applications as needed by SCAG staff.
